someone must know whether they are going to continue it into another series or not. i personally think that they SHOULD make another series and ARE making one because at the end, zuko went into ozai’s prison cell and asked him “where is my mother……” THEY CANT JUST LEAVE IT HANGING LIKE THAT!!!!! apart from that, the ending was beautifull and everything ame together perfectly, everyone got together. aang got the hottie (katara) and kissed her. best ending ever!!!! BUT I DONT WANT IT TO BE A ENDING!!!! lol

I’m so happy I’ve finally watched the last chapter… I loved it very much, but I can’t understand, why didn’t they say, where Zuko’s mother was! She can’t be dead, that would be rather unfair.
Apart from this, the ending was very touching, and the last scene of kissing Aang and Katara at the sunset was BEAUTIFUL!
I reaaly wish they would continue Avatar, but if they wrote ‘The end’ in the end, then it is the end…(((
Anyway, many thanks, respects and best wishes to creators! =)
It’s the best cartton I’ve ever seen ( after my native cartoons, though )!

Btw, Andrew is right, what about Zuko’s mother? =l But would it be appropiate to make a whole new book for The Avatar? I mean, the whole purpose of the whole story has been solved right? I just need another episode or something in which Zuko gets his mother back:|

yea. i still want to know what happens with zuko and his mother. and i reckon that even though it said “the end”. i am suspecting that it only means the end of either book 3, or sozins comet because they have left so many things un-answered. also, i reckon they could make another book because even though firelord ozai lost his firebending, azula still has hers and i reckon they could maybe play on that by her escaping out of jail and some of the fire nation are still on her side and so on….. and also when aang goes on the adventure before the battle and talks to lion turtle and the lion turtle says “in the age before the avatars, we did not bend the elements, but the energy within ourselves”. aang used this in the final battle and bent the energy out of ozai. so i think they could use this to make another book called the energy element. i dunno but its my idea of another book so yea.

From the bottom of my hart I thank the makers for this series of anime. You’ve made a great ending to a funny, exciting and breathtaking story. For me the cirkel is round an I don’t expect more beause it’s just fine like this.
I will look the whole series again in time but for now it’s just right

I am curious about the whole Azula and Ozai and Zuko’s Mother thing, but I’m really curious about the Golden Egg in Chapter13. I think that is the last Dragon and it is going to hatch soon. Then there is going to be a big commotion about who the dragon chooses to be loyal to; whether it be Zuko or Azula or something like that.

The best cartoon series ever!, i know alot of people want another book, but i do think thats it, they might do a mini show on zukos mother but im not sure, and the main purpose of the show was for aang to defeat the fire lord, and they said The end which im pretty sure theres no more episodes.
I hope that another show like it will come out soon!

Oh, me too, me too.
But I’m afraid, that the creators and voice actors may get pretty tired of this 3-year marathon, so they won’t agree to continue the epic (!) story, eventhough they all know, that lots of people would like to see, how the world will change, how some problems will be solved and how … - whatever.
Oh, I’ve just had an idea. If they don’t want to create a full season, why don’t they make a movie about setting balance in the world after ending the war, for example? I believe, this could be a solution…

By the way) When I got really interested with ATLA, I couldn’t even imagine, that it had been running since the beginning of 2005, so I found myself a little astonished! :O
In my country they started running it… possibly in the middle of 2007 (but it seems, that it’s not gonna be finished, ’cause the last translated episode is 306 -> that’s why I’m here). So it was a surprise for me - 3 years of unstoppable work! That is amazing!

yea. but thats what those people do for a living. voice overs is there job so im just saying that that is how they earn a living (probably) but i honestly dont know. just my opinion. and also, yes another option would be to make a movie which would be pretty awesome as well. i honestly think that to leave so many things unanswered in the (so called “last episode”) is actually bad directing and producing because they knew that so many people would be in anticipation for more and it would be a huge let down on the fans and them because that would be the whole fan base for the show gone. (thinking in long terms here)

Yes, this surely can be.
Perhaps, leaving so many things unanswered was the only way to intrigue people to make the coming movie more popular in advance. Otherwise I don’t know, how to explain all this (especially that the creators categorically deny any posibility of creating a new season, which is already doomed to success [sorry for the last statement, which isn't probably accepted in english, but in my language we use it to say that smth has no chances to fail]).

By the way, I was surfing the Internet and suddenly found a small article about the movie. Have a look:

1.) all questions will be answered in this movie coming out in 2010 according to A10

2.) There’s not enough cliff hangers to make a good long, 20+ episodes season, they would also have to make a new antagonist, that’s why they haven’t released a season 4, i would like them to though

Hey guys, I reallyy like Avatar and I am looking forward to a Season 4 (Book 4) or something to continue all the unanswered questions.

Oh yeah, and I want to point out something… WHAT ABOUT KATARA’S BLOOD BENDING?!?!?!?! I mean she learnt it from that witch, and it really got me interested, exept what will she do with it? Is it that she decided not to use it ever again or something???? I don’t get it. Maybe she will become mad for power and betray Aang >)!!! And same thing goes for Zuko’s mum. Where is she? Evil or good? Maybe shell bust Ozi out of jail and form another empire with Katara. Ok, I think I’m getting weird (but nice) ideas.

I don’t mean to spoil the happy ending or anything but I seriously NEED a sequel. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the making of “Avatar”, and thanks for this website.
Everyone wants to know what happens next, so I hope you decide on making another book.

PLEEEAAASE don’t turn Avatar into a love story. Its nice to have something of it in there, like what you already put (Katara & Aang, Zuko & Mai), but don’t make it, like, based on love and stuff; that wouldn’t be nice. The fighting scenes are all great, I don’t want them to stop.
